About the event

Every Saturday from 10 am to 12 noon, Geshe Khechok will teach from the introductory text, Opening the Eye of New Awareness, composed by His Holiness the Dalai Lama. The original work was written by His Holiness in 1963, shortly after his escape to India, in order to summarize the essence of Buddhist philosophy and practice for the Tibetan people. It was then translated into English by Donald S. Lopez, Jr. Geshe-la will teach in Tibetan and IBC interpreter Tenam will translate into English. This class is perfect for those new to Buddhism; all are welcome. Available both in-person and online via Zoom.
