On May 21, 2006, Geshe Jinpa spoke at the St. Thomas Episcopal Church in Whiteland. He was invited by the church to speak about Buddhism, as a part of their study of world religions. The church members were very welcoming, and after Geshe-la’s talk, he presented khatas to the church’s pastor, Rev. David Ferner, as well as Milly Kopecky (far left), the coordinator of Geshe-la’s visit.
